The exhibition Dai tempo al tempo is the fruit of three months work by three international curators Fiona Parry (b. 1980, UK), Joseph del Pesco (b. 1975, USA) and Pelin Uran (b. 1975, Turkey). Invited by the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and by the Fondazione Edoardo Garrone, the three curators have spent three months in Italy to get a deeper insight into the contemporary art scene, contacting and meeting artists, curators, museum directors, gallerists and critics.

The exhibition features an intergenerational group of 13 artists from across Italy: Focusing on the physical experience of time, the exhibition will begin with a day-long series of time-based projects by the 13 artists. This opening event will unfold over the course of 4 hours on Sunday May 25th and will continue through 29 July.

Responding to the selected artists’ project-oriented practices, the exhibition will be composed of ephemeral, transient, momentary, and impermanent artworks. The artist projects will include: performances, artists’ talks, installations, video presentations, interventions, and participatory constructions. Some works will have specific durations, lasting from a matter of minutes to the whole four hours. Others will, in more ephemeral ways, give form to the temporal structure and experience of the whole event.
